Hi Friends,
Whether or not you’re a Swiftie, you’ve likely heard about Taylor and Travis’s engagement! They announced their engagement on Instagram along with some cute photos of the two of them. To celebrate T-Swift’s engagement, here are some book recommendations based on some of her music.
You Belong With Me Meets Better Than The Movies
You’ve probably heard this classic Taylor Swift song a million times. This song really matched the book! Basically, the lyrics are about a girl telling a guy he’s with the wrong person because she’s the one who’s always been there for him. If you’re familiar with the book, this song and it are a great fit. This story is about a girl who gets her neighbor and frenemy to help her get her crush. However, her crush might not be the right person for her.

The Lucky One Meets Daisy Jones And The Six
This song focuses on fame, fortune, and a glamorous lifestyle. The song also covers the downsides of being famous. The book reads like a documentary and follows a super popular 70s band as they deal with fame and try to stay on top. It’s all about sex, drugs, and rock and roll. The book reveals the difficulties, like the song, that are involved in being a superstar.

The Archer Meets All The Bright Places
I believe this song is about the experience of feeling broken. The lyrics appear to describe how every day feels like a fight and feeling unlovable. This book follows Finch as he grapples with mental illness and mood swings. He bonds with Violet, who is still mourning her sister’s passing. The story is really, at its core, about finding someone who accepts you and healing yourself.

Style Meets When In Rome
When I heard this track again, it instantly reminded me of this book. It’s crazy how well the lyrics capture this small-town romance story. In this book, pop star Amelia goes to Rome, Kentucky, to get away from it all and live out her Audrey Hepburn movie dreams. She falls for the town and sparks ignite with Noah, the grumpy pie shop owner. This story is one that will never go out of style!

Enchanted Meets The Invisible Life Of Addie LaRue
The lyrics “I was enchanted to meet you” totally capture this story! It’s a tale of a 300-year-old French woman, forgotten by all, thanks to a deal with a demon. But then, a young man remembers her, and everything changes. This is truly an enchanting tale of love and heartbreak, carrying the message that everything comes at a cost.
