Hi Friends,
Bookchella day two kicked off a little later than I was hoping since I happened to sleep in, but a girl needs her beauty rest, right? Still, I was excited for another day full of reading books that not only piqued my interest but also had a Coachella-like aspect to them.

The first task of the day was finishing my book from Bookchella day one, Rise to the Sun by Leah Johnson. I really enjoyed the story, and I can’t wait to share more of my thoughts and rating in a book review soon.

To give me some energy for the day of reading ahead, I made myself some brunch. If I’m being honest, this is the one meal I could probably eat every day for the rest of my life and not get sick of

The next book I decided to read was Spring Harvest by Rektok Ross, a vampire horror that takes place at a music festival. It was available on Kindle Unlimited, and I’m always down for a horror story.

In the afternoon, I had some playtime with my dogs. It was a beautiful day since the temperature was in the high 60s, so it actually felt like spring. I love playing outside with my dogs and enjoying the fresh air.

I was so excited to see that Olivia Rodrigo performed her new song with Addison Rae at Coachella 2026 weekend two. The performance was so good, and I really hope to see her live one day because I just know this new album is going to be amazing.

By the time I went to bed, I had gotten to 50% in my book, and although the plot was picking up, I wasn’t a fan of the characters, especially the female protagonist.
Before you leave, comment below your thoughts on Olivia’s surprise Coachella appearance. Are you a fan of her new song Drop Dead? Don’t forget to like and share this post with other bookworms.
