My Thoughts
This story was so good! The characters were very complex but still likable, the plot was interesting, the sapphic romance was really cute, and the music festival setting was so much fun. The story also had a lot of emotional depth. Additionally, the book touched on many heavy topics, and the characters’ emotions felt very real.
I also loved that both female main characters experienced personal growth throughout the story. Even though there was some conflict in the romance, I think it worked well with who these characters were and needed to happen so they could both grow.
Overall, this book checked all the boxes for me, from great writing to likable characters and an entertaining plot. Also, despite it being a young adult story, the characters didn’t feel immature, which is an issue I have with some YA books.
