Hi Friends,
I am sharing with you the final day of Bookchella! It was a Sunday, so it was a pretty chill day, and I got a lot of reading done. I always love when I have a day where I can just stay in bed and read, which for the most part is what I did.

I started the day by finishing my Bookchella day two book, Spring Harvest by Retook Ross. I have a lot of thoughts on this book, and I can’t wait to share them with you in a review.

Afterwards, I immediately started my last Bookchella read, which was The Future Saints by Ashley Winstead. I was hooked from the beginning, and I just knew it was going to be one of those books I wouldn’t want to put down.

I read for most of the afternoon, but I did take a little break to scroll on TikTok because I had to watch some of Sabrina’s Coachella performances. And I need to say, if you’ve been sleeping on “We Almost Broke Up Again Last Night,” you need to give it a listen. I’m so glad she sang it at Coachella because it’s my favorite song off the Man’s Best Friend album, and it doesn’t get enough love in my opinion.

I did some reading sprints this evening because some of my favorite BookTubers were hosting sprints for a weekend readathon. The sprints really helped me get a lot more reading in, and it’s just fun to participate in them because it feels like you’re reading with others.

I finished my night with a movie because who doesn’t love a movie night? I watched Eternity on Apple TV, and as someone who lost their husband, I have mixed feelings about the film.

I ended up getting to 50% of the book, and although I didn’t finish it, I’m happy that I made it halfway through. I am absolutely loving the story! It is very different from what I expected, but in a good way.
